The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abbott catches Duran with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Abbott drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Abbott throws an ugly left hook that misses
letting Duran counter with a right hand.
Abbott dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Abbott throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Abbott misses with a hook.
Duran throws an off balance right hand
and Abbott counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Duran shoots in and drives through. Abbott sprawls well.
Duran ducks under a wild hook from Abbott.
Abbott misses with a hook
enabling Duran to counter with a crisp jab.
Abbott swings widly with a right hand
and Duran counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Duran changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Duran takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Abbott uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Duran.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Abbott takes one to the side of the head.
Abbott connects with a jab.
Duran might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Duran throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

David Abbott dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Duran ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Abbott moves away.
Abbott throws a sloppy body shot
and Abbott takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Duran staying out of range there.
Abbott throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Duran sees it coming and avoids it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Abbott swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Abbott keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Duran.

and Duran connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Duran looks for a takedown but Abbott sprawls well.
Abbott takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

and Abbott counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

and Duran counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Abbott thinking.

and Duran connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Duran keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Duran throws a good cross that connects.

Abbott walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Duran misses with a straight left.
Abbott throws a lazy uppercut
and Duran counters with a straight right hand.
Duran shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Abbott as he avoids it easily.
David Abbott has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Reyndel Duran.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
A shot to the body from Abbott misses
and Duran makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Reyndel Duran showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


Duran connects with a good right hand that stumbles Abbott. Abbott circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Abbott fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Duran manages to avoid it.
Duran works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Duran throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Duran throws a lazy uppercut
and Abbott counters with a left to the body.
