Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between William Harrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Salvatore Fecchinni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harrison's entrance music is God's Gonna Cut You Down. A fine choice. Salvatore Fecchinni has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, William Harrison!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Salvatore Fecchinni!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Steve Smith and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fecchinni takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Fecchinni fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Harrison manages to avoid it.
Fecchinni rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Harrison moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Harrison looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Harrison clinches.
Harrison lands a right hand that snaps the head of Fecchinni backwards.
Fecchinni tries to land knees in the clinch but Harrison avoids the damage to the body.
A left hand lands to the body for Harrison.
Fecchinni tries to work over Harrison's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Fecchinni misses with a hook from the clinch.

Harrison manages to break the clinch.
Salvatore Fecchinni seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Harrison throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Fecchinni's waist but Fecchinni gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Harrison off to one side.

Harrison wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Fecchinni, who protects the arm well.

Harrison tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Harrison has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Harrison is looking to take a break and control but Fecchinni is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Harrison thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Fecchinni is trying to get back to half guard.

Harrison goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Fecchinni has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Harrison but great work by Fecchinni.

Harrison has gone for a leg lock! Fecchinni slips out almost immediately though and dives into Harrison's guard.
Fecchinni stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Harrison swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Harrison is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Fecchinni has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Fecchinni!

Harrison jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Fecchinni is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Fecchinni and Harrison has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Fecchinni is trying to stand up here but Harrison is controlling him well.

Harrison is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Fecchinni is just riding it out for now. Harrison eventually gives up the hold.

Harrison drops back, looking for a kneebar! Fecchinni looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Fecchinni looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Fecchinni!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Harrison has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Fecchinni can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Harrison isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Fecchinni stacks Harrison on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Fecchinni!
