Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Roy D (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rogers Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). D's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, do it. Nelson has chosen Housequake as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Roy D has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Roy D!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rogers Nelson!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Ben Zyskovitsi and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
D checks a leg kick.

Nelson drives through with a takedown into D's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

D had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Nelson defends it easily.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Nelson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in D's guard.

D wants to get back to full guard but Nelson has passed into side control.
Nelson wants to lay and pray for a moment but D keeps working.
Nelson lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear D down.

D takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
D is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
D is letting Nelson control him for a moment.
Nelson throwing strikes but D manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!

D is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Nelson is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Rogers Nelson will probably get the nod - 10:9.
That's time! D's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

D fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Nelson avoids it really well and circles away.

D ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Nelson moves away.
D is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Rogers Nelson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Nelson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
