Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Omg Zulud (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vladimir Putin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zulud comes to the cage accompanied by Bullet For My Valentine - Hit The Floor. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

18 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Omg Zulud!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Vladimir Putin!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, John Roberts and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Putin misses the jab.
Zulud wants to clinch but Putin slips to the side
and Putin counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Putin gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Zulud counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Putin!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Zulud stands up from mount. Strange move.
Zulud darts in trying to clinch
and Putin counters with a nice double leg into side control. Zulud won't be happy with that.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Zulud is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Putin is controlling him well.

Putin cracks Zulud with a big right hand but Zulud just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Putin controls Zulud momentarily but Zulud frees himself.
Zulud stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Putin swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Zulud gets to his feet. Putin looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Zulud keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Putin.
Zulud turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Zulud closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Putin to the mat! Putin manages to get full guard.

Zulud is pushing down on Putin's leg trying to pass to half guard. Putin is fighting to maintain full guard but Zulud has managed to sneak the leg through.

No joy there for Zulud, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Putin throws a looping overhand right but Zulud ducks down to avoid it.
Zulud fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Putin is out of range.
Zulud darts in trying to clinch
and Putin cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

and Putin counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Omg Zulud dominated that second round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Putin sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Zulud's guard.
Zulud might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Putin is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Putin is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Zulud defends it well.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Putin tries to lock up and control but Zulud gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Putin is wriggling around trying to escape.
Zulud controlling his opponent.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Zulud lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Zulud avoids the attempt from Putin to control.

Omg Zulud showed his dominance in that final round.
