Puno comes into the arena with Fidel Entry Song blaring out of the sound system. Chigurh has chosen Kvelertak-Mjod as his entrance music. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chigurh slaps away a takedown attempt from Puno, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Chigurh stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Chigurh wants it to stay on the feet.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Chigurh does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Puno seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Chigurh will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Anton Chigurh seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Puno shoots for a double leg takedown but Chigurh sprawls well. He's pushed Puno's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Puno controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Chigurh wants to sweep here but Puno controlling him for the moment.

Anton Chigurh is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
