And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lighty throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Mendes tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Lighty is in Mendes's guard.
Mendes preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Lighty is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Mendes has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Lighty is looking to defend but Mendes has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Lighty! Mendes pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Lighty taps out and this one is all over!
