Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Olav Klint (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bing Ka Wong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wong comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Aegukka kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Olav Klint could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Bing Ka Wong's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Olav Klint!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bing Ka Wong!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Marco Blurström and Anni Minnemäki.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wong buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Wong keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Wong throws a leg kick that misses.
Klint blocks a leg kick.
Wong does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wong throws the kick towards the body but Klint avoids it.
Klint misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Wong.

Wong throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Klint chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Wong can pounce on him.

Bing Ka Wong is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Wong connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Wong throws a leg kick which misses Klint's front leg but catches the back leg as Klint tries to avoid it.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Wong fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Klint.
Wong fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Klint checks it well.

Some bone on bone action there as Klint checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Bing Ka Wong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bing Ka Wong showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Klint takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Wong will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Klint darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Klint is keen to just control but Wong is a slippery customer.
Klint is nestled in close to Wong, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Klint accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Klint tries to free his leg and advance position but Wong is retaining full guard.
Wong pulls Klint in close to his closed guard and prevents Klint from doing any damage or advancing position.
Klint has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Wong motions for Klint to come forward. Wong throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

That was a close round but Olav Klint did the better work so I'd imagine he'll take it.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Wong dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Klint. That did some damage!
Klint tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Wong was well out of range. Poor timing from Klint.

Wong pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

and Klint counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bing Ka Wong dominated that fourth round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Bing Ka Wong comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Wong has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
