Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Junichi Emmeraldo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Vladimir Solovyev!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Anni Minnemäki and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emmeraldo showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Solovyev.

Emmeraldo looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Solovyev!
Emmeraldo throwing strikes here but Solovyev is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

Emmeraldo swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Solovyev is now in Emmeraldo's guard. A big mistake from Emmeraldo there, giving up the dominant position!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Solovyev tries to free his leg and advance position but Emmeraldo is retaining full guard.
Solovyev is pushing down on Emmeraldo's leg trying to pass to half guard. Emmeraldo is fighting to maintain full guard but Solovyev has managed to sneak the leg through.
Emmeraldo is looking for a sweep. Solovyev is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Emmeraldo throws a strike from the bottom but Solovyev passes into side control!
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Emmeraldo looks to move to half guard but instead Solovyev has passed into mount! Damn!
Emmeraldo is trying to escape the mount.
Solovyev controlling the position easily from mount.
Emmeraldo is desperately trying to improve his position but Solovyev has a good base and remains in mount.

Emmeraldo is working hard here to advance position.
Solovyev takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Vladimir Solovyev dominated that round.
That's time! Emmeraldo's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Emmeraldo tries for a takedown but Solovyev sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

It looks like Junichi Emmeraldo has been cut.
Solovyev lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Solovyev stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Solovyev wants it to stay on the feet.
Solovyev lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Solovyev with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Solovyev takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Solovyev lands a nice shot to the body.
