The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Powerhouse wants to clinch
and da Simplicidade Simples counters with a nice double leg into side control. Powerhouse won't be happy with that.
da Simplicidade Simples cracks Powerhouse with an elbow. That is naaassty.
da Simplicidade Simples trying to control the position but Powerhouse is working away.
da Simplicidade Simples tries to advance to mount but can't.
da Simplicidade Simples advances to full mount.
da Simplicidade Simples with shots to the head and body - Powerhouse looks very uncomfortable down there.
It looks like Xplicit Powerhouse has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

da Simplicidade Simples jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Powerhouse is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Powerhouse and da Simplicidade Simples has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Powerhouse really doesn't want to stay on the ground with da Simplicidade Simples. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Powerhouse gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
da Simplicidade Simples has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Powerhouse regains half guard.

da Simplicidade Simples looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Powerhouse with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Xplicit Powerhouse's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
