The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Willie.
Willie has his takedown stuffed
and Richards counters with a big head kick but Willie shrugs it off.
Richards lands a nice shot that snaps Willie's head back.
Willie gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Richards counters with a straight right hand.
Harry Richards has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Boxcar Willie.

and Richards counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Willie is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Willie lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Richards down.
