Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Maximus Overdrive (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Barry Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Scott has chosen Bang - By Barry Scott as his entrance music. Maximus Overdrive is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Eliza Hachem and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Overdrive falls off balance throwing a combination
and Scott counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Scott gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Scott shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Scott is pressing down on Overdrive's thigh, looking to free his foot. Overdrive is holding on for now.
Overdrive is not content to let Scott control the position.

Scott tries to pass the half guard into mount. Overdrive knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Overdrive tries to get to full guard but Scott has control of the leg.
Overdrive is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Scott's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Scott's back!
Scott is trying to escape under a series of strikes and manages to escape from Overdrive 's hooks.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Overdrive throws some wild stikes that Scott manages to avoid easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Scott is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Overdrive can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Scott is looking to escape.

Overdrive is landing with some decent strikes but Scott is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Scott is squirming around, avoiding Overdrive's attempts to control the action.
Scott is in all sorts of trouble here.

Overdrive cracks Scott with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Overdrive lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Scott is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Maximus Overdrive dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Overdrive throws a left and a right that both miss
and Scott cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Overdrive throws a combination that misses
and Scott counters with an outside leg kick.
Overdrive misses with a double jab
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Overdrive swinging wildly here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Scott uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Overdrive.

Overdrive throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Scott counters with a right hand to the body.
Overdrive rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Scott moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Maximus Overdrive is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Scott fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Overdrive manages to avoid it.
Overdrive swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Scott makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Overdrive regains half guard there - taking advantage of Scott's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.
Scott is keen to just control but Overdrive is a slippery customer.
Scott passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Overdrive!
Overdrive is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Scott wants to control the pace but Overdrive is squirming around nicely.
Overdrive manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Scott winds up and cracks Overdrive with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Scott works his way into side control.
Overdrive struggling a bit here.
Scott landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
Scott is trying to get an arm triangle but Overdrive is defending well.
Scott lands some shots froms side control.
Overdrive manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Scott moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Overdrive wants to control from the top but Scott keeps moving.
Scott pushes a forearm under Overdrive's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Overdrive is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
