The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Payne scores with a takedown into Rob Sr's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rob Sr manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Payne manages to get himself to full guard.

Rob Sr drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Rob Sr jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Payne wants to sweep here but Rob Sr controlling him for the moment.
Payne manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Rob Sr manages to get himself to full guard.

Payne wants to control but Rob Sr is having none of it.
Payne is desperately trying to improve his position but Rob Sr has a good base and remains in mount.
