Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dave Suraski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and BJ Veb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Veb's choice of entrance music: Damian Marley ft Nas - Road to Zion. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that BJ Veb was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Suraski does no damage.
Veb tries a head kick but it misses.

and Suraski counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Veb is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Veb has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Suraski can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Veb is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Veb is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Suraski defends well.

Veb takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Suraski's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
