Edwards has chosen NoMeansNo - I'm an Asshole as his entrance music. Jim Miller has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jim Miller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Mark Edwards!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Summer Carpenter and Steve Erwin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miller throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Edwards counters with a nice low kick that buckles Miller's knee momentarily.
Miller shoots and misses
and Edwards counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
A solid leg kick lands there for Edwards.
Edwards stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Miller throws a combination that misses
and Edwards makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Jim Miller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Miller is breathing heavily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Edwards tries to bum rush Miller with a series of wild strikes but Miller uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Edwards feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Miller's calf.
Edwards misses with a body shot.
Edwards throws a head kick but Miller moves out of range.
Edwards goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

It looks like Jim Miller has been cut.
Edwards buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Edwards lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Edwards dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Miller. That did some damage!
Edwards with a hook.

Edwards drops Miller with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Miller looks back up at him and smiles so Edwards waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Miller is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Edwards is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Miller flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Miller is out cold! Edwards holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
