Drezner comes into the arena with Cypress Hill - Checkmate blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drezner fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Drezner is looking to clinch.

and Drezner counters with a stiff right hand.
The Dude swings away with a body shot that misses
and Drezner counters with a low kick, right behind The Dude 's knee.
Drezner throws a looping overhand right but The Dude ducks down to avoid it.
The Dude tries for a takedown but Drezner circles away easily
and Drezner counters with a straight right hand.
The Dude swings away with a body shot that misses
and Drezner counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Drezner misses with a head kick.

The Dude on the wrong end of a nice jab.
The Dude tests Drezner's chin there with a solid looking shot.
The Dude scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
A solid leg kick lands there for Drezner.
Drezner buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

and Drezner counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Drezner fakes the leg kick and cracks The Dude in the body.

Drezner lands with an uppercut that bounces The Dude off the cage and back into rage.
The Dude is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Drezner rather than just go for the knockout.
Drezner lands a jab to The Dude's midsection.
Drezner thows a body kick. The Dude tries to catch it but that hurt him.

Zak Drezner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jeffrey The Dude.
A slapping leg kick lands for Drezner.
The Dude chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Drezner can pounce on him.
The Dude moves forwards but Drezner connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Drezner scoring well with a low kick there.
Drezner is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Drezner turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Jeffrey The Dude seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Drezner counters with a nice leg kick.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Drezner scores with a leg kick.
The Dude stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Drezner.
Drezner lands a head kick. The Dude smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
The Dude avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Drezner wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Drezner fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Drezner connects with a right hand. The Dude shakes it off.
Drezner scores with a head kick. The Dude tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

The Dude is breathing heavily.
Drezner pulls out of a head kick attempt.
The Dude seems to have recovered his senses.
Drezner fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches The Dude on the side of the head.
The fighters circle, before Drezner throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into The Dude's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Drezner lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
