The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Penaali counters with a shoot takedown. Herrada fights it but they end up in guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

and Penaali cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

It looks like Arvo Penaali has been cut.

Herrada tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Penaali paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Herrada shoots in but Penaali avoids the takedown attempt easily.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Penaali can do anything to dispel that myth.

Herrada tries to stand but can't do so whilst Penaali controls his leg.

Herrada wants to control the pace but Penaali is squirming around nicely.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
