The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bear Junior steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Miyazaki.
Miyazaki swings for the body but Bear Junior moves out of range.
Miyazaki throws a body punch but Bear Junior moves out of range.
Miyazaki takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Bear Junior moves out of range as Miyazaki strikes.

and Bear Junior counters with a nice uppercut.
Miyazaki throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Bear Junior makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Miyazaki rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Bear Junior counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

It looks like Hayao Miyazaki has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bear Junior lands a left and a right that send Miyazaki crashing to the mat, dazed. Bear Junior thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Miyazaki is rocked!
Miyazaki connects with a looping right hand.

Bear Junior forces Miyazaki back against the cage and clinches.

Miyazaki is still on wobbly legs! Can Bear Junior finish him?
Nice body punch from Bear Junior - that landed with a thud.
Miyazaki seems to have recovered his senses.

Bear Junior is working for takedown but Miyazaki is calmly controlling the position for now.
Bear Junior is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Miyazaki gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Bear Junior's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Bear Junior lands a nice hook to Miyazaki's body. Miyazaki takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Bear Junior lands a big head kick that sends Miyazaki tumbling to the mat! Bear Junior takes a step backwards and waves Miyazaki back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Bear Junior ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Bear Junior! Miyazaki is out on his feet! Bear Junior rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Miyazaki is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Miyazaki is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
