Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ares Constantinides (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonas Wenkel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Constantinides kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is War by Judas Priest. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Matheus Silva and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Constantinides ducks under a wild hook from Wenkel.

It looks like Jonas Wenkel has been cut.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Constantinides lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Wenkel is pressed up against the cage. Constantinides has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Wenkel down to the mat. Wenkel avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Constantinides throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Wenkel was covering up waiting for the punch and Constantinides finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Constantinides passes Wenkel's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Constantinides throws out a leg kick but Wenkel moves out of range and Constantinides only half commits.
Wenkel lands a leg kick that knocks Constantinides off balance momentarily.
Constantinides uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Wenkel.

Wenkel fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Constantinides, pushing him back against the cage.

Jonas Wenkel's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Constantinides throws a punch but it's blocked by Wenkel.
Constantinides lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Constantinides gets through Wenkel's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Jonas Wenkel's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
