Lessard is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Dexter - Intruder. Junior Lessard has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Deal Breaker throws a right hand that misses
and Lessard counters with a nice body shot.
Deal Breaker throws a hook to the side of Lessard's head but Lessard sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Lessard lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Deal Breaker has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Deal Breaker and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Deal Breaker drops his hands momentarily and Lessard takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Deal Breaker is looking to stand back up but Lessard counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Deal Breaker.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Lessard wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Deal Breaker, who protects the arm well.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lessard is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Well Lessard has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
