Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Marlo Stanfield (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and D J Rich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Stanfield might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Call To Greatness. Marlo Stanfield could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to D J Rich's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rich keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Stanfield.

Rich gets a double leg takedown into Stanfield's guard.
Stanfield is trying to control the position but Rich postures up.
Rich is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Rich stands and steps away. Stanfield gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Stanfield changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Stanfield lands a head shot.
Stanfield throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Rich on the side of the head.

Stanfield jabs Rich right on the nose. Rich blinks but takes it well.
Rich gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Rich.
Rich tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Stanfield was well out of range. Poor timing from Rich.

Rich tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Rich misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Rich dives in and grabs Stanfield's left leg, looking for a takedown. Stanfield pushes down on Rich's head and hops out.
Nice shot lands for Stanfield.
Rich on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Rich will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Rich moves in looking to clinch but Stanfield pushes him off.
Rich tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in the close the distance. Stanfield manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Rich is defended easily by Stanfield.
Rich has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Rich there as he acknowledges the shot.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Stanfield, as that shot connected.
Rich shoots in but Stanfield avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Stanfield bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Rich's head backwards.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Rich tries to clinch there but Stanfield circles away.
Rich has a takedown stuffed.
Stanfield swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Stanfield scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Stanfield tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rich was well out of range. Poor timing from Stanfield.
Stanfield throws a body punch but Rich moves out of range.

Nice takedown defense from Stanfield. No joy for Rich on that attempt.
