Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Omaly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Glenn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Omaly comes to the cage accompanied by Outside - To Forgive but not Forget . Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mark Omaly!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bobby Glenn!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Elvis Blanc and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Omaly misses with a double jab.
Omaly is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Glenn.
Glenn uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Omaly.
Glenn looks to throw the jab but Omaly is out of range.
Glenn throws an off balance right hand

and Omaly counters with a shoot takedown. Glenn fights it but they end up in guard.
Omaly loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Omaly is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Glenn is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Glenn has escaped and now he's on top!

Omaly is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Omaly is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Glenn accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Omaly tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Glenn in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Omaly working for a triangle but Glenn defends it easily.

Glenn got a little sloppy there for a moment and Omaly has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Glenn has managed to get both his arms back between Omaly's legs - danger averted.
Omaly looking to hit a scissor sweep but Glenn is one step ahead there.
Glenn trying to control but Omaly is working from the bottom.
Glenn throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Glenn's corner. There ya go! There ya go!


It looks like Mark Omaly has been cut.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Omaly had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Glenn defends it easily.
Omaly avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Glenn trying to control the position from guard on top but Omaly is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Glenn stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Omaly swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Glenn postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Omaly is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Glenn avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Glenn pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Omaly is keeping the position for now.
Omaly lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Glenn!

Omaly working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Omaly raining down shots from the mount!
Omaly postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Glenn looks a forlorn figure.
Glenn tries to hold on but Omaly pushes him away.
Glenn is in all sorts of trouble here.
Glenn wants to control but Omaly is having none of it.
Omaly in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Omaly scores with a couple of good head shots there.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Glenn tries to hold on but Omaly pushes him away.
Omaly postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Glenn looks a forlorn figure.

Omaly with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Glenn taking shots to the head.
Glenn tries to lock up and control but Omaly gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Omaly lands a big shot there that rocks Glenn but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Omaly lands a nice shot to the head.
Glenn wants to control but Omaly is having none of it.
Omaly lands with some strikes.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Omaly putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
Omaly has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Glenn is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Omaly working the ground and pound effectively.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Omaly avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Omaly avoids a punch combination nicely.
Omaly bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Omaly throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Glenn on the side of the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A big right from Glenn misses.
Omaly on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Glenn takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Glenn ducks under a wild hook from Omaly.
Omaly cracks Glenn with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

letting Glenn counter with a right hand.
Omaly misses with a hook
and Glenn comes in over the top with a devastating right hand! Omaly stumbles back against the cage, looking to regain his senses but Glenn is on him like rabid pit bull! Omaly slumps to the ground under a storm of punches and this fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bobby Glenn!
