Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kendall Clarke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brick Tamlin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kendall Clarke!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brick Tamlin!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Russell Pearce and David Schapiro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clarke with a lazy takedown attempt

Clarke really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

enabling Tamlin to counter with a crisp jab.

Tamlin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Clarke. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Tamlin fails with the takedown.
Clarke is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Clarke shoots in looking for a takedown. Tamlin tries to sprawl out of it but Clarke keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Tamlin manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Clarke is working for takedown but Tamlin is calmly controlling the position for now.

Clarke manages to pull guard.
Clarke bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Tamlin's guard.

Clarke drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Clarke jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Tamlin can do anything to dispel that myth.

Clarke is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Tamlin is surviving well by controlling Clarke's body position as best he can.
Poor strikes thrown by Clarke there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Clarke, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
