Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Corey Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Kyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson's entrance music is St. Elmo's Fire. A fine choice. The crowd seem to be enjoying Kyle's choice of entrance music: Big Booty Woman. David Kyle told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson swings for the body but Kyle moves out of range.
Johnson throws a lazy head kick
and Kyle counters with an outside leg kick.
Kyle defending well as Johnson loads up on a big left hand.
Johnson throws a sloppy head kick and Kyle moves out of range easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Johnson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kyle looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Johnson has hold of Kyle's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Kyle tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Johnson cranks the arm and Kyle screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Kyle, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
