Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Roy D!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Art White!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Arvi Lind and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
D keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
White throws a combination that misses
and D cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
White is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
White tries to land a leg kick but D saw it coming and moves away.
White lands a glancing blow to the side of D's head.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
White throws a low kick but D moves out of range easily.
A telegraphed right hand from White misses the target.
White throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
A low kick from White is predictable there
and D counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
D misses the shot to the body.
D scores with a jab. White acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
White throws a lazy uppercut
and D counters with a nice body shot.
White throws a right hand that misses
and D counters with a straight right hand.
D throws a hook but White avoids it easily.
White takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
White looks to throw a body kick
enabling D to counter with a crisp jab.
White takes a jab right on the kisser.
White misses with a lunging right hand
and D counters with a two punch combo.
White misses with a two punch combination.
White slaps away a takedown attempt from D, before circling back to the center of the mat.
White throws a body kick the misses

so D counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

D thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
D lands a couple of decent looking shots.
D stands and throws White's legs to the side, diving into side control.

D is trying to get an arm triangle but White is defending well.
D creates some space and throws a big elbow, but White sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
D working the ground and pound but White is defending the strikes.
White tries to get back to half guard but can't.
D creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
White gets back to half guard.

White trying to control here.
D wants to take a breather but White is having none of it.
White is trying is best to control the position here.
D prevents White from improving his position.
D is trying to control the action in half guard but White is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
White wants to control but D is keeping busy and won't allow it.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Art White hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
D checks a leg kick.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
White misses with a telegraphed body shot
and D counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Roy D dominated that round.
That's time! D's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

D moves out of range of the leg kick from White.

and D counters with a straight right hand.
White throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
White throws a predictable looking body shot
letting D counter with a right hand.

White misses with a right hand
and D counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.


White is rocked!
D wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
White is still on wobbly legs! Can D finish him?
Art White is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
White throws a leg kick that is checked

and D goes for a counter takedown and lands it with interest - it's knocked his opponent senseless! It looks like D 's shoulder did the damage as the two fighters hit the mat.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Slam). Roy D!
