Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Randy Ortiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Benny Tronk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tronk has chosen "Go Getta" - Young Jeezy as his entrance music. Tronk has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tronk tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Ortiz counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Tronk closes the distance looking to clinch
and Ortiz counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Tronk looks gassed!
Tronk wants to clinch
and Ortiz cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Ortiz takes a swing at Tronk's ribcage but misses.
Tronk tries to clinch but Ortiz moves away
and Ortiz counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Tronk closes the distance but Ortiz moves to the side

Ortiz attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Benny Tronk is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

and Ortiz counters with a straight right hand.
Ortiz scores with a nice head shot.

Ortiz throws a head kick but Tronk moves out of range.

That has opened up Benny Tronk's cut even more.
Ortiz is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Nice uppercut lands for Ortiz. That snapped Tronk's head back.
Benny Tronk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A decent looking cross lands there for Ortiz.
Ortiz lands a body shot.

Tronk seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Ortiz shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Tronk is backing up but Ortiz catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Tronk covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Ortiz Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
