Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jack Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karen Darabedyan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Darabedyan has chosen KDB Highlights as his entrance music. Karen Darabedyan told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! Darabedyan keeps the fight on the outside.
Black throws a right and a left that both miss.
Darabedyan has his takedown stuffed
and Black counters by clinching up.
Darabedyan pulls guard successfully.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Darabedyan keeping full guard, as Black tries to pass.
Darabedyan is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Darabedyan throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Black escapes and throws Darabedyan's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Black working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Darabedyan takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Black has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Darabedyan is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Black yanks on the arm and Darabedyan is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Black.
