Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Duddy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Elroy Jetson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, John Duddy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Elroy Jetson!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duddy swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Duddy throws a nice outside leg kick.
Duddy lands a front kick.
A big right from Jetson misses.
Jetson scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Jetson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Duddy moves away.
Duddy is looking to clinch.

and Jetson counters with a lovely straight right hand!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

It looks like Elroy Jetson has been cut.
Duddy looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Duddy misses with a jab, cross combination.
A cross from Duddy lands.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Duddy lands a head kick. Jetson smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Duddy cracks Jetson with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Jetson tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Duddy pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Jetson is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Duddy!
