Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Juha Mieto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Armoton Armo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Mieto might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Pikku G - Älä ole vihainen . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Tiny Johnson and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Armo blocks the body kick.
Armo slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Mieto is looking to slow Armo down with leg kicks.
Mieto uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Armo.
Armo ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Armo misses with a low kick as Mieto jumps back.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Armo crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Mieto - the referee stops the clock and Armo gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Mieto. Armo manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Mieto uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Armo.
Mieto moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Armo throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Armo lands a nice hook to Mieto's body. Mieto takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Mieto throws a quick inside leg kick.
Mieto throws the kick towards the body but Armo avoids it.
Armo lands with an overhand left.
Mieto turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

and Armo cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Mieto throws a leg kick but Armo sees it coming and moves out of range.
Good shot there by Armo.
Armo blocks the body kick.
Armo tries to score with a low kick but Mieto moves his leg out of the way.
Mieto ducks under a wild hook from Armo.

Mieto shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Armo tries to lock up and control but Mieto gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Armo holds on for dear life, controlling Mieto's posture momentarily.
Armo keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Armo wants to control but Mieto is having none of it.

Armo can't escape the position.
Mieto takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.
Armo is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Mieto is hanging on to Armo's back as he tries to escape.

Mieto has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.
Armo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mieto. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Mieto is persistently looking for the submission but Armo is defending it well.

Armo is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Armo just trying to survive but Mieto is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.

Mieto has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Armo is in real trouble here. Mieto gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Armo is tapping out! Mieto wins by rear naked choke!
