Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kung Lai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Barnes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Lai might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to KoRn - Twisted Transistor. Barnes is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Black Eyed Peas - Imma Be. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Barnes feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Lais jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

and Lai counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Barnes is lucky that one didn't land flush.

The fight stays on the outside here - Barnes looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Barnes lunges at Lai with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Lai's hand.

Barnes shoots in and drives through. Lai sprawls well.
Kung Lai has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Barnes.
