Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Mauricio Rocha and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Irvin shoots for a takedown but Balderas saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Irvin bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Balderas sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Balderas is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Irvin's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Irvin's back!
Balderas controlling the position well here. Irvin rolled but Balderas kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
Balderas has the hooks in. Irvin is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Irvin manages to reverse the position and now he's in Balderas's guard. Nice work there by Irvin.
Irvin postures up in Balderas's guard and throws a big left but Balderas blocks it.
Irvin pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Balderas is keeping the position for now.
Balderas looking for a triangle here. Irvin is fighting it but it looks tight! Balderas pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Irvin is tapping out - this one is all over!
