The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from De Hotdog as Souza shoots in.
Souza shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with De Hotdog but De Hotdog pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Souza tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but De Hotdog swivels and escapes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for David Souza. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A combination from De Hotdog does no damage.
De Hotdog tries to bum rush Souza with a series of wild strikes but Souza uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
De Hotdog lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Souza can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from De Hotdog and Souza drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by De Hotdog.
