The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva misses with a hook.
Silva throws a body punch but Smokeleaf moves out of range.
Smokeleaf tries to land a front kick but Silva steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Smokeleaf moves out of range as Silva strikes.
A low kick from Silva misses
and Smokeleaf counters with a nice body kick.
Silva tries a head kick but it misses.
Silva swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Silva throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Smokeleaf counters with a shoot takedown. Silva fights it but they end up in guard.

A big head kick from Smokeleaf and Silva is sent sprawling to the canvas!

It looks like Thiago Silva has been cut.
Smokeleaf drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Smokeleaf as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Silva screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Smokeleaf! Nice submission victory there!
