Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Schrank (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zach Slater (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Frank Schrank has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Frank Schrank!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Zach Slater!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Hirohito Nitta and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Decent striking displayed by Slater there.
Slater scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Slater swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Slater tries to close the distance and clinch up but Schrank swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Schrank will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Slater drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Schrank manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Slater has Schrank in his guard.

Slater bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Schrank's guard.

Schrank shoots for a double leg takedown but Slater sprawls well. He's pushed Schrank's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Schrank throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Slater's waist but Slater gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Schrank off to one side.

Well Slater has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
