Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gonna Bust (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bust has chosen X as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Gonna Bust was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Bust throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Smith's waist but Smith gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bust off to one side.

Bust takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Gonna Bust seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Smith closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Smith is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Smith has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Smith takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Bust shoots for a double leg takedown but Smith sprawls well. He's pushed Bust's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Bust ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Smith moves away.

Bust wants to hold on but Smith pushes him away.
Smith pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Smith tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to John Smith.
