Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sir Didymus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bryan Bishop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Didymus might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Welcome to the TerrorDome. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bryan Bishop!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Seu Braga and Matheus Silva.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Bishop misses its intended target.
Bishop misses with a takedown attempt
and Didymus counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Bishop tries for a takedown but Didymus circles away easily
and Didymus counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Didymus bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Bishop shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Didymus but Didymus pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Sir Didymus has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bryan Bishop.
Didymus connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Bishop's hands.

Didymus misses with a two punch combination.
Bryan Bishop seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bishop looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Didymus is fending him off so far but Bishop persists. Nope, Didymus circles away and we're back to standing.

Didymus gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Bishop postures up and lands a big shot to Didymus's brow.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Didymus controls Bishop momentarily but Bishop frees himself.

Didymus is looking for a triangle but Bishop pushes his legs off easily.

Bishop working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Didymus working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bishop doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bishop manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Bishop really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Didymus. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Didymus has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bishop can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Didymus is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Bishop's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Bishop's back!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Didymus is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Bishop has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Didymus has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Bishop taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Didymus doesn't care though - he's delighted!
