The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Submitt just misses with a punch to the body.
Nice defenses there by Orlow.
Submitt ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Orlow moves away.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Orlow misses the shot to the body.
Orlow tries to close the distance and clinch but Submitt swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Submitt checks a leg kick nicely.

Orlow bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Submitt throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Submitt shoots in looking for a takedown. Orlow tries to sprawl out of it but Submitt keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Orlow manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Orlow uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Orlow tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Submitt closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Orlow to the mat! Orlow manages to get full guard.
Submitt wants to pass the guard but Orlow is keeping the position.

Orlow has his feet on Submitt's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Orlow tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Orlow connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Submitt momentarily.

Submitt moves forwards but Orlow connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Submitt pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Submitt walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Orlow checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Submitt takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Submitt shoots for a double leg takedown but Orlow sprawls well. He's pushed Submitt's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
