Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lewis Warren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christopher Reyes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Warren might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Caught Somewhere in Time -- Iron Maiden . Christopher Reyes has the eye of the tiger tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Christopher Reyes!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Paulo Santos and Edson Gomes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Warren scores with a nice strike.


It looks like Christopher Reyes has been cut.

Reyes swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Warren throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Warren throws a low kick but it's checked well by Reyes.
Warren just misses with a punch to the body.
Reyes throws a jab but it's blocked by Warren.
A combination from Reyes does no damage.
Warren stuns Reyes with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Reyes feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Warrens jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Warren looks to score with a jab to the body but Reyes is just out of range.
Reyes stuns Warren with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Reyes misses with a hook. Warren ducked under it nicely.

Reyes will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Warren lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Reyes is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Warren.
Warren will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Warren is looking to wear down Reyes with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Warren bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Reyes has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Warren.

Reyes gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Reyes working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Warren doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Warren manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Reyes escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Warren gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Reyes throws a body punch but Warren moves out of range.
A clash of legs there as Reyes blocks the low kick.
Reyes misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Reyes clobbers Warren with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Christopher Reyes is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

and Warren counters with a head kick.

Reyes gets caught napping as Warren dives in and scores a takedown. Reyes manages to retain guard.

Warren darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Reyes tries to roll over but Warren keeps him under control.

Warren is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Warren is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Reyes can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Reyes slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Reyes is looking to improve his position.
Reyes wants to control but Warren is keeping busy.

Warren takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Reyes tries to bum rush Warren with a series of wild strikes but Warren uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Horrible takedown by Warren or perhaps it was just good defense by Reyes which made him look bad.

Warren shoots in looking for a takedown. Reyes tries to sprawl out of it but Warren keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Reyes manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Warren fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Reyes avoids it really well and circles away.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Warren pushes Reyes away with a front kick.

Christopher Reyes comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Warren has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
