Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hector Cabrera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Patrick Plo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cabrera comes to the cage accompanied by Hector. Plo has chosen ISIS - Grinning Mouths as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
20 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Hector Cabrera!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

16 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Patrick Plo!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Plo lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Plo walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Cabrera throws a body punch but Plo moves out of range.
A big left from Cabrera misses.
Plo lands an overhand right.
A slow jab from Plo misses its intended target.
Patrick Plo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cabrera moves out of range of the strikes.

Plo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Cabrera's waist but Cabrera gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Plo off to one side.

Cabrera throws out a loose jab but Plo uses good head movement to avoid it.

Horrible takedown by Plo or perhaps it was just good defense by Cabrera which made him look bad.

Plo has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Cabrera's face.

Plo is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Cabrera has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Plo sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
