PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Muy Bot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Beyond Evil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Evil has chosen Bas Beats as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bot throws a leg kick that is checked

and Evil decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Bot's guard.
Evil cracks Bot with a solid left hand.
Evil chips away with some ground and pound.

It looks like Muy Bot has been cut.
Bot wants to sweep here but Evil controlling him for the moment.

Evil gets to his feet - Bot follows without any prompting.
Bot throws a quick inside leg kick.
Evil throws a lazy right hand but Bot sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Bot moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

and Evil counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Bot throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Evil misses with a wild body shot.
Evil throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Evil throws a lazy uppercut
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Evil stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Bot.
Bot misses with a kick to the body
and Evil counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

and Evil counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Evil slips nicely into half guard.
Bot avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Evil.
Evil landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Bot pushes Evil off looking to stand but Evil dives back in and keeps control.
Evil scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Bot wants to improve his position but Evil is controlling well.
Evil thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Bot's head.
Evil is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Evil is nestled in close to Bot, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Evil is looking for a kimura but Bot is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Evil to get the leverage.
Evil slips a nice elbow through Bot's hands, connecting with Bot's forehead.
Evil lands with a punch from half guard.

Muy Bot's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Bot is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Evil scores with a couple of nice shots.
Evil working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Jeez, Muy Bot's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Muy Bot's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
