The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bubbles's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Clement connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Clement pivots, looking for a leg kick but Bubbles is out of range and Clement settles back down.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Bubbles crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Clement - the referee stops the clock and Bubbles gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Clement. Bubbles manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Clement has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

Clement has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Bubbles uses from the top position.

Bubbles really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Clement. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Clement is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Bubbles frees his head nicely. Oh but Clement has switched to an armbar! Bubbles is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
