Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Braden Turk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zues Egan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Turk's entrance music is Deeper and Down. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Braden Turk!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Zues Egan!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Gregory Folan and Steve Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab from Turk.
Zues Egan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Turk has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Egan.
Egan lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Egan throws a head kick that Turk semi-blocks.
Good leg kick by Egan there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Turk avoids a kick to the body.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Egan.
Turk throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
No joy there for Egan, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

and Egan counters with a series of strikes. Turk will be more careful next time no doubt.

Egan takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Egan throws a lazy head kick
and Turk counters with a stiff right hand.
A bone on bone clash there as Turk blocks the leg kick.
Turk bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Turk shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Turk was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Turk throwing strikes but Egan bucks up and reverses the position. He's now in guard on top.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Turk accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Egan looking for a guillotine here but Turk defends easily.
Turk throws a strike but Egan rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Turk has a closed guard, preventing Egan from standing up.
Turk pulls Egan in to control the position.
Egan trying to control the position from guard on top but Turk is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Some bone on bone action there as Turk checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Egan misses with a head kick.
Egan wants to slow Turk down by chopping away at his legs.
Zues Egan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Turk blocks a head kick by Egan.
Egan is looking to slow Turk down with leg kicks.
Egan throws a low kick but it's checked well by Turk.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Turk throws a leg kick that is checked
and Egan counters with an inside leg kick.
A combination from Turk does no damage.
Turk lands with a straight right. Egan didn't see that one coming.

and Egan counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.

Egan throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Turk shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Egan sprawls well. Egan wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Turk gets slowly back to his feet.

Egan goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Turk shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Egan is not content to let Turk control the position.
Turk wants to free his trapped foot but Egan is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Turk missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Turk wants to pass the guard but Egan is defending well.
Egan makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Egan.
Turk throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Egan works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Turk's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Egan wants to sweep here but Turk controlling him for the moment.

Turk has gone for a leg lock! Egan slips out almost immediately though and dives into Turk's guard.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Turk holds on and takes a little breather.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Egan feints and then cracks Turk's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Turk down.
Egan lets loose with a powerful body kick. Turk will feel that in the morning.
Turk is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Turk misses with an uppercut
and Egan counters with a low kick, right behind Turk 's knee.
Egan turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Egan is looking to chop away at Turk's legs.
Egan moves out of range as Turk strikes.

Egan connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Egan tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Turk is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Egan.

Egan tries to land a front kick but Turk steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Turk missing with a left hand there. Egan was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Turk has a takedown stuffed.

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Egan. Turk shrugs it off though.

Ouch! a nice leg kick from Egan, right into the meat.
Zues Egan is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Egan fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Turk.

Turk closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Turk misses with a head shot. Egan uses the momentum to regain guard.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Egan wants to stand but Turk is controlling his posture from full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Zues Egan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Egan has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
