Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alejandro Mora (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sandy Hawkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hawkins is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Enter Sandman. Sandy Hawkins has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Alejandro Mora's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

With a record of 13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sandy Hawkins!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Steve Smith and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mora lands a nice shot to the body.

and Hawkins counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Mora is lucky that one didn't land flush.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Well Hawkins has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
