Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Oscar Mayweather (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karl Grossman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Grossman has chosen The Devil's Rejects as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Karl Grossman!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, John Kavanagh and Dean Styles.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mayweather avoids the body shot from Grossman.
Grossman scores with a jab to the jaw.
Grossman ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Mayweather moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Mayweather throws a left and a right that both miss
and Grossman counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Grossman thumps Mayweather with a low kick.
Grossman swings and misses with a shot to the body
letting Mayweather counter with a right hand.
Mayweather misses with a left hand
and Grossman counters with a nice uppercut.
Mayweather moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Grossman throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Mayweather stalks Grossman and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Grossman's face. Grossman staggers backwards, shaken.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mayweather throws a series of strikes that have Grossman backpedaling.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Grossman looks to land a right hand but Mayweather moved out of range.
Grossman throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Mayweather on the side of the head.
Mayweather avoids a punch combination nicely.
Grossman cracks the inside of Mayweather's front leg.
Mayweather misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Grossman stalks Mayweather and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Mayweather's face. Mayweather staggers backwards, shaken.
Grossman misses with a body shot.
Mayweather fails to land with a series of punches.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Grossman lands with a left to the head.
Grossman lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Mayweather backwards.
Mayweather wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Mayweather working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Grossman lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

Mayweather is rocked!
Grossman softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Oh Mayweather is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Grossman escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Grossman cracks Mayweather with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Mayweather tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Grossman pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Mayweather is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
