Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Doc Chillum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sativa Sensei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chillum comes into the arena with High Hopes - Pink Floyd blaring out of the sound system. Sensei has chosen Stevie Ray - Pride and Joy as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, John Kavanagh and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chillum scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Some bone on bone action there as Sensei checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Sensei lands a left and a right that send Chillum crashing to the mat, dazed. Sensei thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Chillum is rocked!
It looks like Doc Chillum has been cut.
A solid leg kick lands there for Chillum.
Oh Chillum is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Chillum uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sensei.
Sensei throws a shot from downtown. Chillum moves away and avoids it.
Chillum throws a nice inside leg kick.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Sensei crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Chillum - the referee stops the clock and Sensei gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Chillum. Sensei manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Sensei ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Chillum moves away.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sensei turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Chillum rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sensei moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

and Sensei takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

and Sensei counters with a flying knee. Nice.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Chillum cracks the inside of Sensei's front leg.

Sensei loads up on a big right hand but Chillum slips the punch.
Sensei checks a leg kick nicely.
Chillum does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Chillum goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Chillum walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Chillum doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Sensei throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Sensei feints and then cracks Chillum's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Chillum down.

Chillum slips a jab and a cross from Sensei.
Chillum goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Chillum throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sensei lands with an uppercut that bounces Chillum off the cage and back into rage.
This has been an exciting period of action!

That was a close second round but I would say that Doc Chillum will probably get the nod.

Sensei looks to land a combination. Chillum sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Chillum throws a leg kick but Sensei moved away.

and Chillum counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Chillum pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Chillum lands a left and a right that send Sensei crashing to the mat, dazed. Chillum thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Chillum uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Sensei.
Sensei is still on wobbly legs! Can Chillum finish him?
Chillum walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Sensei drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Chillum swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Sensei's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:51 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Doc Chillum!
