The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Solovyev misses with a looping left.

Solovyev lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Oleg fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Solovyev avoids it really well and circles away.

Oleg shoots in looking for a takedown. Solovyev tries to sprawl out of it but Oleg keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Solovyev manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Oleg is trying desperately to land a takedown but Solovyev is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Oleg.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Solovyev enables Oleg to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Solovyev manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Oleg has his foot on Solovyev's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Solovyev works his way back into a safe position though.
