Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mauri Pekkarinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vo Nguyen Giap (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Pekkarinen might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Rydin. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Eddie Farnsworth and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pekkarinen tries a head kick but it misses.
Pekkarinen dives in and grabs Giap's left leg, looking for a takedown. Giap pushes down on Pekkarinen's head and hops out.
Giap wants to clinch but Pekkarinen slips to the side
and Pekkarinen counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Giap's guard now.
Pekkarinen trying to control but Giap is working from the bottom.
Pekkarinen prevents Giap from getting back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Giap working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Pekkarinen.
Pekkarinen pushing down on Giap's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Pekkarinen has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Giap defend it? Pekkarinen steps over the head and cranks it - Giap is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Pekkarinen!
