Alves has chosen Guerreiro by Curumin as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alves tries to close the distance and clinch but Tatsuhiko Jr swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Akihito Tatsuhiko Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That was a close round but I would say that Akihito Tatsuhiko Jr will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Alves stuffs the takedown.
Alves ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Tatsuhiko Jr moves away.
Alves dives in and grabs Tatsuhiko Jr's left leg, looking for a takedown. Tatsuhiko Jr pushes down on Alves's head and hops out.
Tatsuhiko Jr throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Alves's waist but Alves gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tatsuhiko Jr off to one side.
