Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Wayne Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ikaro Dantas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Alice in Chains-Man in the Box. John Wayne Gracie has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Gwen Towbar and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie looks to score with a jab to the body but Dantas is just out of range.
Dantas moves out of range of the body kick from Gracie.
Gracie misses with the combination.
Dantas avoids a punch combination nicely.
Dantas throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Gracie goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Dantas ducks under a wild hook from Gracie.
Gracie throws a series of punches but Dantas avoids them all with ease.
Gracie keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Gracie displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Dantas throws out the jab.
Gracie throws a push kick but Dantas slaps the foot to one side.
Gracie throws a lazy uppercut
and Dantas holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Gracie takes a knee to the side of the body.
Dantas unloads a knee to the mid-section.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Dantas using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Gracie has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Gracie takes an elbow to the forehead.
It looks like John Wayne Gracie has been cut.
Dantas tries to throw a body punch but Gracie avoids it by throwing Dantas back against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Dantas utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.
Gracie is breathing heavily.
Dantas stalling in the clinch.
Dantas scores with a shot to the side of Gracie's head.
Dantas is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Dantas takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Dantas lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Dantas tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Gracie avoids it.

Dantas lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Gracie backwards.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Dantas is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.

Dantas drops Gracie with a big knee straight up the middle! Gracie is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

Gracie gets tackled into the cage by Dantas. Dantas maintains the clinch.
Oh Gracie is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
