The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Elastinen.
Elastinen trying to control the action but Ko is working from the bottom.
Elastinen gets to mount! Ko was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
Ko is squirming around, avoiding Elastinen's attempts to control the action.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ko tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Elastinen wants to control the pace but Ko is squirming around nicely.
Ko is trying to escape the mount.
Elastinen jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Ko manages to avoid the submission attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Elastinen is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Ko looks calm but he's in trouble here. Elastinen gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Ko is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Elastinen lets go of the hold and Ko can pop his arm back in it's socket.
