Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tero Rokka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Marsden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rokka kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Drowning Pool - Bodies. Mike Marsden told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marsden throws an overhand right that lands on Rokka's shoulder, as Rokka tries to avoid the shot.
Marsden moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Marsden missing with a left hand there. Rokka was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Marsden misses with a leg kick.
Marsden scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Rokka closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Marsden works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Marsden feints and then cracks Rokka's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Rokka down.
Marsden clobbers Rokka with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Marsden shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

Marsden throws a predictable looking body shot
and Rokka counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Marsden finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Rokka closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Mike Marsden seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rokka connects with a single shot there.
Rokka throws a sloppy head kick
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Marsden tries to score with a low kick but Rokka moves his leg out of the way.

Rokka ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Marsden throws a lazy right hand but Rokka sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Marsden throws a nice looking combination but Rokka bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Marsden lands a nice hook to Rokka's body. Rokka takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Rokka throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Marsden.

It looks like Mike Marsden has been cut.

Marsden tries a head kick but it misses.
Marsden chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Rokka can pounce on him.
Rokka ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Marsden looks gassed!

Rokka connects with a right hand. Marsden shakes it off.
Rokka throws a leg kick which misses Marsden's front leg but catches the back leg as Marsden tries to avoid it.
Rokka misses with a head kick.
Rokka slips a straight right by Marsden.
Marsden misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Rokka throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Marsden stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Rokka throws a nice outside leg kick.
Rokka scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Marsden uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Rokka.
Marsden takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rokka tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Marsden was well out of range. Poor timing from Rokka.
Rokka showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Marsden.
Rokka is looking to wear down Marsden with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Marsden throws a jab when Rokka was well out of range.
Tero Rokka is winning the standup battle so far.
Rokka lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Marsden's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Marsden duly obliges.
Marsden looks to score with a jab to the body but Rokka is just out of range.
Marsden does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Marsden tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Marsden is breathing heavily.
Rokka misses with a low kick.

Marsden ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rokka moves away.
Marsden throws a head kick but Rokka moves out of range.
Marsden throws a sloppy head kick and Rokka moves out of range easily.
A nice inside leg kick there by Marsden. That's going to slow Rokka down.
Rokka misses with a head kick.

Rokka lands a big head kick that sends Marsden tumbling to the mat! Rokka takes a step backwards and waves Marsden back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Marsden is rocked!
Rokka scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Marsden doesn't seem bothered though.
Marsden is still on wobbly legs! Can Rokka finish him?
Marsden leaves his chin hanging out and Rokka seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Marsden crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
